Terms for the text messages sent from theheidelberg.org.
These terms cover the text messages Grant Boucher and Colleen send about our parties. By ticking the consent box on an invitation page, or by giving us your mobile number and asking to be invited, you agree to what's below. If you don't agree, don't tick the box — you can still RSVP to any event without it.
Invitations to parties we host, reminders as an event approaches, and occasional updates if something about an event changes. Each message includes a link to the invitation page for that event.
We don't send advertising, promotions for anyone else, or messages on behalf of any other person or business. There is nothing for sale here.
A handful of messages per event, a few times a year. Typically an invitation, one reminder, and occasionally a message the week of the party. We don't send on a fixed schedule.
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan and carrier. We don't charge you anything; your carrier may, exactly as it would for any other text you receive.
Reply STOP to any message. You'll be unsubscribed from all future messages, and you may receive one final confirmation that you've been removed.
Reply HELP for information about the messages and how to contact us.
You can also use the "Remove me from future invites" link at the bottom of any invitation page.
Replying "Can't make it" to a specific invitation stops messages about that event only, and keeps you on the list for future ones.
If you've stopped and later want to hear from us again, reply START, or tick the consent box the next time you RSVP.
We can't guarantee that every message arrives. Delivery depends on your carrier, your device, and your signal, and carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. If you're expecting an invitation and it hasn't shown up, the invitation page is always reachable at theheidelberg.org.
Supported carriers may change without notice.
Only give us a mobile number you control. If your number changes or is reassigned, tell us so we don't text someone else by mistake. If you receive messages meant for a previous owner of your number, reply STOP and you'll be removed.
What we collect and how we handle it is set out in our privacy policy. In short: your mobile number is never sold, rented, traded, or shared with anyone for their own use.
This site is operated by Grant Boucher and Colleen as private individuals, not as a business. It exists to invite people to our own parties.
If we change these terms, we'll update this page. Continuing to receive messages after a change means you accept the updated terms; if you don't, reply STOP.
